MTB | Maryland Mountain

Fun trail system that offers some of everything including great scenery. Extended climbs and extended descents and a bit of mining history along the way. The defined route does not include Hard Money or Ore Chute which are black diamond and double black diamond respectively. You are welcome to break off from the group to ride either or both of these when we get to that trail junction.

Gravel | Sedalia Gravel Loop

This ride starts in Sedalia and heads south on Perry Park Road for 7 miles. At Jackson Creek road the route heads west and onto gravel, for a 12 mile, 3k climb, to Devil’s Head Lookout. After the summit, enjoy 2 descents, with a short but steep climb sandwiched in between. The second descent drops 2.5k feet in 9 miles to back to Perry Park Road at mile 39. Head north on Perry Park Road to Sedalia for the last 10 miles.

Here is a nice out and back route that begins with a short, very steep and memorable climb. Following the climb, the remainder of the ride is rolling with some sweet views. The turnaround point is at the Platte Hotel where you can dunk yourself in the river if you like.
