Join us for an evening MTB ride from the Picture Rock - Heil Valley Ranch Trailhead in Lyons!

The Picture Rock Trailhead is a short distance south of Lyons on Red Gulch Road. The Picture Rock Trail connects to multi-use trails in Heil Valley Ranch and Hall Ranch. The Picture Rock Trail is an intermediate rated trail that is 5 miles one-way with an average grade of 4% and 1k feet of vertical. From this connector trail, you can access the network of 12 trails covering 73 miles of trails in Heil Valley Ranch. Mountain bikers will enjoy mild grades, smooth track, miles of open space and a variety of wildlife. There are great vistas as well!

We will ride as a group with a lead and a sweep rider. If the group of riders is too large, we will split into a couple of distinct and separate groups. We will plan to ride a selection of trails based upon trail conditions and rider ability. Plan to ride 1.5-2 hours or until sunset and bring a headlamp.

Meet at Sandstone Park in Lyons and we will ride the short distance to the Picture Rock Trailhead.
