Join us for an evening MTB ride from the Waterton Canyon Trailhead in Littleton!
The Waterton Canyon Trailhead is at the southern end of Chatfield State Park on Waterton Canyon Road. The beginning of the trail system is a 6.2 mile gradual climb along the South Platte River on a gravel road. Once the road ends, the Colorado Trail begins. This is a singletrack trail , in the trees, with lots of switchback and more climbing.
We will ride as a group with a lead and a sweep rider. If the group of riders is too large, we will split into a couple of distinct and separate groups. We will plan to ride a selection of trails based upon trail conditions and rider ability. Plan to ride 1.5-2 hours or until sunset and bring a headlamp.
Meet at Waterton Canyon Trailhead Parking at the southern end of Chatfield Reservoir on Waterton Canyon Road.
